General

I'm in the Middle East a lot and so emails and chats are about it but it would still be nice for someone to flirt with as it were.

Tall, dark, handsome? 5'11", dark only when covered in engine oil or mud, and handsome - well that's not for me to judge.

Not into football, golf or dominoes, much more of of a petrol-head. Sense of humour goes from "Family Guy"/"Southpark" to old British stuff.

Like going for walks (nothing too steep :) ), touring about in a seemingly random direction rather than any than organized affairs and the more off the beaten track the better.

I have a habit of trying new things which is unrelated to any mid-life crisis, I've always been like this :-)

Oh, and if you are likely to throw a hissy fit if I hold a door open for you then please don't get in contact. I'm old fashioned and smart enough to believe that good manners have nothing to do with chauvinism. Very even tempered, but despise bullying and intolerance in others.

Can hold a conversation in most topics from quantuum theory to what makes a good kebab(no seriously and the two may actually be linked), but will always first to put my hand up if I don't understand a subject - which, admitting you don't know something, is the first sign of intelligence as far as I'm concerned. I've a position that requires me to use some brains and creativity, has travel to new lands and that I still enjoy after many years.

Short brown hair, clean shaven and glasses. Normal build for my age but definitely more a 'medium' than 'ate all the pies' :-)

I tend to be in denims and casual shirts/t-shirts rather than a suit but can occasionally be found wearing my kilt! However when the occasion is appropriate I alledgedly scrub up rather well.
