General

I am a successful guy with grown up family, frustrated by the routine of my existence.

Non-conformist in many ways, and with personality full of contradiction;

- Fiercely independent but drawn to the excitement & interdependence of an intense relationship,

- Proud of my life achievements but equally proud of my humble roots,

- Caring and nurturing but impatient of those that do not take responsibility for their own lives.

- Confident but but sometimes intensely insecure.

I am the eternal optimist and only usually succumb to negativity when I am frustrated by the pessimism of those around me!

I enjoy the finer things in life but tend to shun popularist materialism. More important for me is getting away from the pressures of modern life. I love travel, I am passionate about music, Roots Music such as traditional Rythmn & Blues & Folk. I care about the world we live in, not so much the environment but society as a whole. It saddens me that so many people are selfish in their outlook.

Perhaps for this reason it is also important for me to contribute to the wider society as a mentor for the under-privelaged and by sponsoring children through 3rd world schools.

It is sad to say that my relationship is not complete! I am not looking to move on or to add notches to my bed post, I just want to engage with a special someone with a similar outlook on life.
