I’ve been chatting to a guy for about a week, we’re getting on well but I don’t know what he looks like. I’m worried if I see a photo of him or he sees one of me, we will be put off each other. Should we carry on in ignorant bliss or swap photos?

I tell you what. Why don't some of you so called women actually reply to messages sent to you. Even if youre not interested. Do you have any idea how annoying it is to spend ages reading and writing introductions just to be ignored.

If people really want these affairs, wouldn't location be the game changer?

If you were to meet and you didn't like their real name, would you want them to change it?

We can (mostly) all manage to flirt or chat up, but if the IE is in Timbuktu, there's not a lot likely to happen.

My serious point is that a profile is just like a cv - if the reader likes it it may go further, if not it is all about rejection and bounce back ability...

It is no different to real dating life even with the supposedly willingness of all members/participants to enter into the "affair".

All you can do is make an effort and continue to be kind and polite 😇
