Ive had good chats with women where being too far apart meant never meeting. Well.....

Anything all saucy and sexy ,delete.
Autoprofiles, delete.
Continuous views and alerts, block.

The women who I have gone onto have an affair with, began with brief acknowledgements. Little or nothing said regarding the nature of the site,ie etc. There was nothing memorable. They do not want to leave an auditable trail. Things moved onto mobiles, soon.

It’s such a difficult one this is. I try and respond to something that’s mentioned in the bio. To show that I have read and that I am interested, but sometimes those who say “message me to find out more” just love the hits their bio gets as apposed to finding a real connection

I would say speaking for myself, as a woman, the best way to get a response is :
Firstly, fall within her criteria, if her preference is age 40-50 and you’re 32 (or 64), don’t even bother to try to engage.
Secondly, have an approachable nom de plume, those with names such as ‘HungLikeADonkey’, ‘CunnilingusExpert’, or similar, don’t inspire an urgency to open the message.
Thirdly, show you’ve read the lady’s profile. Make a comment regarding that, trying your hardest not to explain in detail how you’d improve the lady’s secret life. Nor just give your password. Nor ‘want to chat?’
Yes, all women are different and what may offend / irritate one woman, another might think it perfectly ok, but just remember you’re an adult man; not 8 years old. Just be polite, pleasant and courteous. Easy Peasy!

Qetesh, I think you are right, phone numbers can be a problem. It's always possible to communicate via email and maybe call by appointment and then delete the number. I have found it's quite good fun to meet up with someone from here and have to actually show up at the right place and time, just like the olden days.

I always reply to those too with a polite message, about 85% of the time I am blocked, else it seems to annoy them more, clearly having a bad day and want an argument, takes all sorts ...
