Alot of us are working at home alongside our spouses, how do you explain your sudden absence? Surely suspicions will be raised ..??!!

I have said it, Qetesh has said it [if you look further down the thread] ... just because you are married, are you joined at the hips and cannot do anything on your own???
You are all adults [OK agree not everyone acts like one] and surely you should be able to say a simple "I need to have some time on my own" or similar for a couple of hours away from home must be possible ... I mean you let your teenage children go out by themselves within reason for goodness sake. Your other half too can do the same if they so wish.
If you can't even do this, how on earth are you going to carry on an affair???

The old 'I need to go to the office to do a few things' is the best I've been able to come up with!

I’m using my assignment as a great excuse as I need to go the library. Shame my IE is too busy working to meet me 🙄

Doctors/Dentists ... only if you are at death's door ... no appointments otherwise!

Its not easy for many people to find the freedom and free time to sustain a regular meaningful relationship even in " Normal" times so it may be best for some to wait a little while longer.
I am not quite so constrained fortunately but will certainly not be venturing very far and certainly nowhere near Nottinham!

It’s a nightmare. Both working from home, same friendship groups, such a struggle to find an excuse. Need to check the excuses people give on this feed, as I need to get creative!

I’ve found it really difficult. I’ve not been able to find a good excuse to get out of the house and arrange a meeting. It’s potentially cost me the opportunity for an IE with a really nice person.
