Next Lockdown?
Am I being selfish to continue seeing my IE now that a full lockdown has been announced? I feel seeing him is the only thing getting me through this all right now.

In my view its all about personal risk assessment and should be for all "thinking" people, rather than rules. We changed the attitude towards STD , Aids, Smoking, Drink driving with education, why not Covid awareness and risk. If you think its safe to do so for you him and your families why not?

It's completely selfish of people not to follow the rules. You know this. I feel you just want people to justify your rule breaking and putting others in danger. Follow the damn rules so Christmas isn't ruined for us all

An affair is inherently selfish. Sometimes justifiably.
Although having a good excuse to be away from home during lockdown is probably even more important, in case the NHS app decides youโre a super spreader ;)

a lockdown for 2 dating persons should be approved and encouraged at this critical time

Not sure if this particularly advocates this or not, but the Dutch Government were encouraging having a 'special friend' during the last Lockdown ๐
