Finding an illicit accomplice
Do you ever feel worried about using your actual friends or work colleagues as excuses for being out with your IE? I could really do with a local lady to be my accomplice and be the ‘friend’ that can back up my stories without worrying about being caught out by my tall tales!

I have a male friend that knows what I do and use him as an alibi. It is useful to have someone to call if you are in an awkward situation. Unfortunately the only time I felt I needed to be rescued he didn’t answer his phone. It was from another site though. I do feel safe with meeting someone on this site though as if anything was to happen IE would know their details. Maybe I am being too trustworthy though??

Why would you even consider telling anyone whether it's a friend or colleague about having an affair? The secret to not getting caught cheating is to tell absolutely no one!!! Are you sure they could be absolutely trusted with your secrets? I know someone who got a friend to cover for them. Worked out well....for a while...until they had a major fall out. Guess what the "friend " did ? Told his wife everything. Just because you think you can trust someone, doesn't mean they can always be trusted

I was invited to my mates for a party. His Mrs was really off with me and I didn’t know why until she ranted about me keeping him out drinking all night ..... ask before you use someone as an alibi!

I’ve used work colleagues a lot in the past, but a lot about timing, don’t do it the day before the staff party ;-) But yes daytime meets are the easiest.

I tend to stick to daytime meets easier. Can do the odd evening but rather day meets...
Day excuses are shopping. Going into office, overtime.. etc etc.. 🤫 evening are harder, although hubby doesn’t know who my friends are soo excuses are easier and I have a lot of male friends.. (most of them gay, the best men are... 🤪 ) I know my male friends will backs up
Dr Kiss your lucky, open relationship..

I'm fortunate in that my wife will act as my accomplice. There is no one else in our house so excuses are given to any relatives or friends who 'phone when I'm out. It works very well. My wife knows where I've gone and vaguely what I'm up to but nothing more . She suggested I join this site - it keeps me happy (when I'm seeing someone on a regular basis) and the tension disappears at home. It is a win-win situation.

So would it be an idea if i.e. let us pal up on i.e. with same sex? We could have a guys room and girls room. We could stay anonymous but use i.e. pals to keep us safe and also act as a confidant. If any same sex relationships happen as a result then so what? Lockdown is so lonely, I think this has some merit. What do you think?

An accomplice, more a confidant, is truly a gifted friend.
I have one, met on my first site many moons ago, in fact one of the first ladies I ever chatted to in this arena. Like many of you have said below, there was not a romantic connection, but a friend zone for sure. We helped each other out in those early days, and we keep in touch and exchange our affairs (mostly lack of them), and chat on the phone occassionally. It's an unusual concept for some, but sometimes, its just good to chat about things you wouldn't with other folks.
