My point is if you fail at a goal , it's most likely you're not setting it correctly or never had the commitment in it - it has nothing to do whether its a new year's resolution or not

Why is there so much negativity around new years resolutions??

Sure you can make new goals and challenges are any point in the year , but new year is just as good as any other milestone 🤷‍♂️

And to the point about setting yourself up to fail - sorry I don't buy into this one bit. New years resolutions should be treated like any other goal - be SMART

Achievable
Time based
Relevant

I quite like new years to reflect and set goals for the year ahead

I'm in the no new years resolutions camp. Why set yourself up for a fall, if you really want to do something new or make a lifestyle change, just do it.
