Try not to swear on your profile.
It’s a bit of an eyesore, and gives the impression that you’re short in temper.

Most profiles do tend to say what their personal situation is,why they're here and what they're looking for (Not quite an introduction 'a la AA meetings*' but you get the idea. Beyond that feel free to be as creative as you wish I'd say. I do see some profiles saying that they'd like weekends in Paris etc which might be stretching things a bit on the excuse front at home but hey - each to their own. There's no magic formula I guess! (*disclaimer, I've never been to an AA meeting, it's what I've seen on TV/films....honest!)

Poor guy wanting attention. Same as the women who go on Grindr. They get the comments they like to hear. My friend went in there to see if her husband was looking for a man. He was…Interesting.psychiatrist would have a field day there… waste of your time though.

Can’t believe your message passed the vetting stage and was posted. The ratio of profile reads to messages is so low in my experience that it’s hard to believe that they are all real

I was talking to a very convincing female on here for several weeks. Cut a long story short, they finally admitted to me that they were a man pretending to be a woman. Whats the point and what a waste of time!

Much the same as a CV, our profiles 'can' be subject to a certain degree of poetic license.
The trouble arises when the line between poetry and bull (and beyond...) becomes blurred.

My advice (along with some others on here) - keep it simple!

When composing your profile, if you find you're lost for words you're either:

Waffling
Bull$h1tt1ng
Boring

Let's face it; if you've exhausted all avenues of conversation in your profile, what on earth are you going to talk about???
