The question does hold fair comment on behalf of the ladies. If a man does not make an effort then to be something like presentable the probably not worth the effort you make.

I’ve devastated to hear that, for the likes of Miss Chief and Lorelei, I am- as a Bearded One- cast into the eternal outer darkness. I’ve tried to go clean shaven, but I always end up back with at least a goatee. I don’t have a Dan Dare chin, so a beard gives the face definition. I can’t even claim to be an oppressed minority now, either, as every young lad who’s hit puberty has got a straggly thing growing on his face that a mangy fox would be ashamed of 😂
