Tattoos - Yes or no ?

What are your thoughts on tattoos? Do you like them or loathe them? Do you find them sexy? Would you turn someone down if they had them? Does it depend on what and where they are?

Each to their own. I do not have any myself but have no problem with a potential partner having any. They seem to suit some people more than others that is for sure.

Isobel Varley too. What a rabbit hole this conversation has sent me down. But Isobel had some amazing art on her body. RIP.

I don’t have any myself - but I have no problem with them. Number doesn’t matter either - one small and discrete is fine, an entire bodyful is fine as well. It’s your life, live it. It’s your body, do with it what you will. It’s an expression of who you are. Becky Holt, for example, has turned her entire body into a canvas. The only pity is that, with these artworks, when you die the art dies with you.

Less is more ... single very well done, tasteful and very discreet can suit some ... definitely not the Ed Sheeran school of tattoos ... or David Beckham's ... or Post Malone's ... or Rag & Bone Man's ...

I don’t have or intend to have a tattoo. I think it looks better on some than others. I think having to look at a certain imprint on a person all the time would probably wear thin on me, depending on what and where it was. Just a preference, no right/wrong to this.

Agree with Paula99, it is not discriminatory if certain professions require one to project an image. There are good reasons for it. Cover up, no harm done.

Tattoos should actually make you more employable because it shows you can sit in place for hours while tiny needles are jammed into your skin and that's what every corporate meeting I've ever been in has felt like

Discrimination my arse ….I love tattoos but I don’t have them …the work place should have rules …it’s a uniform that should be respected …my work place is uniform orientated …they have to wear it and shine their boots and tie their hair back ( longer hair) and keep your nails short and have good personal hygiene….yes they have to cover their tattoos up …but hey no one is complaining about it ..

I like them and have them. They aren't on show all the time though.

To hear that workplaces discriminate against people with tattoos is shocking and should be treated as discrimination. I get that certain occupations may be more sensitive to it, but if someone is good at their job, what does it matter.

I have an eye on each of my arse cheeks and when I bend over it looks like my arse is shocked and bewildered.

I love tattoos.

I wouldn't turn anyone down on the basis having one, if I liked the them, but it wouldn't attract me to someone. I love pure, unadulterated, natural skin on skin.
