Also, I read your profile and as another "singleton" who is fed up with the anti-single sentiments here on the Forum, your reasons for being here are exactly what mine are too although the [miserably] marrieds refuse to accept there are singles like us who do have a life of our own outside of IE and are happy to be single.

I think lock down has changed this site, and nt for the better. I first joined in 2019 and had the pick of charming men, wanting a proper old fashioned affair (friendship, companionship and intimacy). Now I'm contacted by hundreds of time wasters who want to spend days talking dirty because they're bored and lack social contact. When they've got what they want they ghost you because they were never prepared to meet.

And age has nothing to do with it. I'm 57, absolutely in my prime sexually. Liberated by being post menopausal. Some men also need to look at themselves for answers as to why their wives are bored by sex with them. Sorry. Harsh but true.

Why can’t we all simplify this. Be Discreet. Meet, if there is a spark that’s a match if not thank the other person for their time and a show in interest and we everyone moves on. Time is so precious let’s all not waste it. If there is someone interested I am happy to meet just send me a message. Happy to reply and respect you for your time and efforts.

No, it was a wife who disliked physical contact while enjoying all the benefits and security that a decent, loyal, hard working provider can offer. I begged for change, when I finally realised there was no point making an effort anymore I came here... found an amazing woman... but just before the deed was done I walked away from my marriage of 20 years and never looked back...

Weirdly my ex still can’t figure out why I left... she must have believed that a man can happily go without intimacy indefinitely...

I ended up leaving my hone, (left everything to the Ex) my kids, my friends and just started life all over again from scratch rather than remain in a lonely, desperate place.

Since the divorce my relationship with my boys has improved, my confidence is back and I have enjoyed my Bubble life no end...

Absolutely not! This is something I started a long time before lockdown. I've become quite wary of those members who are looking for a first time affair of late. A lot of bored people seeking excitement are likely to lead to a whole lot of wasted time once life gets back to normal.

I've always had an ie at some point. It's how I started my sex life more or less. I've certainly had more sex via an ie than a conventional partner. Cest la vie.
