I’ve rejoined this after a few years away and know that this can work. I’m 6’2” , 14 stone and have a slim/athletic build, going a bit grey and quite comfortable with who I am. I still get inquisitive glances from woman and don’t think I’ve lost too much in the way of looks.

I’m widowed and regular dating is out of the question at the moment - my children would be appalled.

Getting older I’ve become both more and less tolerant of different aspects to daily modern life ! So to any loony lefties or woke enthusiasts - we wouldn’t get on.

I’d love to meet someone relaxed, attractive, slim or curvaceous - but sorry, I couldn’t date a woman who is significantly overweight. Attraction for me is initially physical but stimulating chat and banter would be essential to have that special spark - with someone special !! Swapping pictures early on would help to avoid either of us wasting each others time. I don’t want a pen pal or a text buddy or someone who needs their ego massaged with no intention of ever actually meeting. However I understand it may be a huge step for someone to start an affair.

Enjoy walking my dogs and getting out and about. I appreciate good food and wine and would hope someone might introduce me to new experiences and ideas. I’ve ran a successful business for years, solvent and enjoy a fairly good standard of living, open minded and naturally optimistic
