About Me:

Im guessing that most people here are looking for something that isn’t occurring in their life, and I’m no different. I have a zest for life. My marriage is solid and I don’t intend to change that so absolute discretion is essential, from both of us. However it lacks excitement, passion and intimacy. I’m sure this is very common, but these are things are important to me, and I have finally decided to do something about them. After all, we only have one life and it’s for living.

After having had a full-on professional career I retired quite early, the work is in the rear view mirror and I don’t miss it one bit!
But what I do miss is passion, the excitement that crackles between two people, the butterflies in the stomach, feeling like a teenager again although that was a long time ago!

I am very lucky in life. I live mostly in the north of England, but spend increasing amounts of time in London. I travel a lot, frequently by motorcycle in far-off places. I enjoy the good things, but take nothing for granted. I certainly don’t feel entitled, and try to give back and do what I can for the wider society wherever I can.
I hate racism, homophobia, and the casual sexism that is so common in all-male groups.

I am affectionate and loving. I love to love, and share. I’m looking for someone prepared to be special to me and return the feelings. If we find each other, the outcome of “See what happens” will be fairly well assured!

Ideal Partner:

Someone who can relax and enjoy our times together. Someone educated, intelligent and smart. I find self confidence attractive, but shyness can be too.
A bright mind, a hint of wickedness, humour and ability to accept us both for what we are.
An appreciation of good food and fine wine, evenings out but also quiet times and cuddles. Age isn’t important, but you must be old enough to know what life is about, and young enough to still enjoy it! I’m fairly fit, but not fanatically, and someone who looks after themselves is always a plus.
