About Me:

I'm 6'4, broad shouldered (physically and metaphorically), size 12 feet (just in case that's important) and of athletic(ish) build. I have salt 'n pepper hair, dress for the occasion and smell good in a fair wind. I like to keep fit by walking my dog and going to the gym. As a counter balance I enjoy good food and an occasional bottle of Malbec. I also love music and travelling to new places.

I'm a mature, erudite and relaxed guy. I consider myself to be thoughtful and emotionally agile. I'm also a bit of an oxymoron in terms of personality; I'm confident without being arrogant; calm but passionate; private but candid; I"m sensitive but don't do drama. I'm a modern day guy but will always and unapologetically hold a door open for you.

I am driven and ambitious but also like a balance in my life. I have my own business, so there is flexibility in terms of where and when I work, and where and when I can carve out time to relax.

I'm committed to investing in this physically, emotionally and cerebrally with the right person. Ideally I'm looking for something longer term.

In terms of personality I'm looking for someone who can be themselves - self deprocation and a high banter quotient are very attractive! Someone genuine. You will be a great communicator; in between meets I would like to know about your days. Someone who wants to explore things within the context of something safe, respectful, discreet and mutually exclusive.

Physical attraction comes in many forms. I don't have a 'type' as such, I'll just know, but do like someone who looks after themselves - no need to be a gym bunny, but can you run for a bus without keeling over?

I subscribe to the notion that we are mostly here because we have a lot to give and want to feel at least a little bit adored; life is short and should not always be about compromise. Safe to say my home situation can't change anytime soon. Nor do I expect to be your entire world; I just hope to be someone who compliments and enhances your everyday whilst understanding I can't replace it.

I'm not the biggest lover of this part of IE. But I'm hoping that alongside the key board warriors and players that can exist here, there is someone who is worth getting to know. I'm happy to wait...
