About Me:

Boy, I hate this bit, but here goes.
In a nutshell, I’m an eternal optimist, always spotting the silver linings rather than getting caught up in the looming grey clouds. My friends would say my optimism is both refreshing and mildly annoying in equal measure. That said, it tends to be infectious, and I promise you are far more likely to leave smiling than frowning after spending time with me.

What do I look like?
Well, I don’t think I’m too bad. I once had a short stint as a guest presenter on QVC - hated every second of it - but the production staff awarded me the “hot dad” badge, so I suppose that’s something.
I played sport to a fairly high level in my youth, and these days I run (with my beloved dog) and swim most mornings, though it’s more for my sanity than my vanity. I swim competitively now, although the only person I’m really racing is myself. I do, however, hate having my photo taken.

Brains?
I’m reasonably well-educated, although I was fairly bone idle at university. My degree’s in the Arts, so while I’m no grammar pedant (this profile probably proves that), I’m also not a fan of text speak or endless emojis. If you mainly communicate in acronyms, I’m afraid your messages might go straight over my head.

Why am I here, you ask?
Alright, let’s get to the point. Like many others, I imagine, marriage works well for the family, but the excitement has long gone. I want to feel those butterflies again, to look forward to the messages just as much as the meetings.
Hopefully that all makes some kind of sense, and perhaps you’ll feel like having a chat?

Ideal Partner:

Ideally, I’m just looking for one person - someone sexy, smart and fun.
Being practical, geography does come into it, so anywhere between Bristol, Reading, Gloucester and Salisbury feels about right (sorry, that sounded far too much like a school catchment area).

I train and exercise a lot and would almost always rather be outdoors than in, so if you’re the same, that’s a great start. If you’re a bit of a Strava addict, even better - and I’m always on the lookout for a swim partner too.

We’ll need to click, both emotionally and physically, and the best way to find out is over coffee and pastries. Hopefully soon x
