About Me:

I enjoy good conversation and am happy to talk (and listen) about most subjects. Some say I am a bit of a raconteur, although not all of my tales are for every audience or occasion....

My perfect night out would be an unhurried meal accompanied by fine wine and lively conversation. I like most food types and am happy to try new things, but I am not keen on lamb or goat (goowert?) derivatives. Lovely critters - just not good eating.

I also enjoy real ale and even founded what went on to be an award winning brewery around seventeen years ago.

I enjoy nature, wildlife and the outdoors, I guess I am more at home in the countryside than in towns or cities, but I do appreciate that towns and cities are where you tend to find people!

I am a pretty good cook, my speciality being curries and I even make my own naan bread.

I can ride a unicycle.

I have a reasonably well paid job in engineering (as a global technical leader) for a multinational company. I have been with the same company in various roles for the last 19 years.

I like motorcycles, but they are no longer the be all and end all to me. These days I am just a spectator. I raced for several years and then did track days. But I had a huge crash back in May 2019 and broke my back. I am fully recovered now, but have taken up watch making as my main hobby. Proper stuff including higher end Swiss watches such as TAG Heuer etc.

I am five feet ten inches tall and try to maintain a reasonably athletic physique by running and cycling along with some weights and a reasonable diet. I am not obsessive over it though and it has to fit in around my work and other commitments.

I am meticulously clean and usually clean shaven, but sometimes I have stubble. I appreciate that is may look better than it feels, so it can come off if required.

I have a full head of hair, but it is thinning a little around the temples and starting to go grey at the sides. If it falls out it falls out and if it goes grey all over then so be it.

I have a full set of teeth - most of which are my own - but three are NHS on account of a disagreement with a cricket ball during a PE lesson at school way back in 1986 and some bad dentistry about 12 years ago that led to an un-diagnosed broken upper jaw.

Ideal Partner:

I am looking for an attractive, intelligent, articulate and yet slightly naughty and adventurous lady who would like to live out some of her fantasies with me. Obviously they would also need to have a good sense of humour!

But seriously - I am looking for an attractive companion, ideally for regular, but infrequent meets - maybe once or twice monthly.

To me attractive means someone reasonably confident who makes the best of themselves. This doesn't mean model-stunning (but that would of course be a nice bonus) but just someone who keeps in reasonable shape - I don't expect stick insects or Amazons either. Someone who has nice hair, tastefully applied makeup and wears well chosen feminine clothing that compliments their physique and shows off their best features.

A slim red head (or auburn) either natural or by chemical means would be particularly delightful to me!

Initially dinner dates would be fine. If most men were honest, they would admit that physical encounters are more meaningful with someone that you have some genuine connection with, rather than the rare occasion of having some "fast piece" throw themselves at you.

I would like someone who is easy and fun to be around, that isn't easily offended. Someone who appreciates that we can have differences of opinion and yet both be right in our own way. Long walks hand in hand putting the world to rights - that kind of thing.

If things were to progress to a more intimate level, then I would be looking for someone who was confident and happy in their skin that was prepared to experiment a little. I'm not talking whips and chains or anything nasty like that, but perhaps a little role play or dressing up or maybe even some alfresco shenanigans would be fun.
