About Me:

So, I was given the number 6969 once in a half-marathon and have used Runner6969 as an online/app nickname ever since. It appealed to my sense of humour. I enjoy spending time outdoors, walking, running, paddling and the natural world that surrounds me - when I'm not chatting on the usual apps or searching websites! Telegram has a lot to answer for and it is always good to chat to someone new.

I'm a kind and considerate, man, I wear my heart on my sleeve. I am tactile and sensual. I have quite a playful nature; sharing a giggle, good conversation, affection and open communication are important to me.

I tend to make friends with people who are emotionally intelligent, honest and can speak openly about their true feelings and needs. Someone who can hold intelligent conversation but who can be equally silly and have a bloody good laugh!

I have short dark (but greying) hair, blue eyes, typically slim and fit. Currently, more of an average body (75Kg), after getting my work/life/exercise balance wrong, so closer to a 34" waist at the moment.

I can have a dry, self-deprecating sense of humour, am well-spoken and articulate, clean, generally smart in appearance and well-educated.

I can be equally happy in city life. I love live music of all genres (not tribute bands, though!) as well as theatre, restaurants and good food, etc. I am not impressed by money, or materialism yet do enjoy my creature comforts too.

Ideally I would like more than a fleeting friendship or hook up but we all live busy lives. I make a good connection for someone that is polyamorous or non-monogamous. That suits my lifestyle too.

I'm happy to travel reasonable distances and am generally available, at the moment. I can meet daytime or evening, weekdays and occasional weekends. How about you, have you given any thought to when, where and how you might meet up?

Escapism

She saw him waiting for her in a quiet corner of the bar, and her heart skipped a beat. They had chatted online but she had never met him before. She knew who he was, and she had been thinking about him all week. He stood up when she approached him, and she noticed he was much better looking in real life than in his photos online. He looked confident and well-presented; the spontaneity and excitement made her feel quite weak in the knees.

"Hello," he said, his voice deep and smooth. "I'm so glad you could make it." She smiled nervously and sat down across from him. They ordered their drinks, and she noticed how he watched her every move. He was studying her, she could tell, and it made her feel both excited and self-conscious. As they sipped their drinks, he began to ask her questions about herself. She told him about her job, her hobbies, her favorite books and movies. He listened intently, nodding and smiling, and she found herself drawn to his confidence and his commanding presence.

Before long, he suggested they go somewhere more private. She hesitated for a moment, wondering if this was a good idea, but she couldn't resist the thrill of being alone with him. They walked to the lift and went up to his room. Inside, the room was warm, it felt comforting and relaxing. He closed the door behind them and turned to face her, his eyes glittering in the dim light. "I've been thinking about you all week," he said, his voice low and husky. "I can't wait to hold you."

She felt a shiver of expectation and the excitement of anticipation, sensing that exquisite moment, knowing she was about to be touched...
