About Me:

I live with my partner who has had frail health for about the last ten years. My relationship with him is now much more as a carer/friend than anything else. I have had to built my own life, doing things very much on my own, or with female friends, and feel lonely sometimes, missing the closeness that one derives from a more intimate relationship. I like getting out and about with my dog in the countryside. I also enjoy reading, writing, surfing the net, swimming, painting, ceramics, watching period dramas and films. I have four grandchildren. I consider myself young at heart.

Ideal Partner:

I am looking for someone has a similar domestic set up to myself, preferably. Someone who has a compassionate nature, is non-judgemental and has a good sense of humour about the absurdity of life, really. A good communicator and listener would be favourite. An openness to life and all its variation would be good as well. Looks aren't terribly important but would prefer someone at least my height, not too thin, and a casual dresser.
