The aforementioned qualities are what I wish I possessed! [joke at my expense!]

I'm average physique, 180cm tall, 74kg, non-smoker, spectacles, receding greying hair. I tend not to drink, but can enjoy a glass of wine with a meal. I love to tease and be teased, with lots of smiles and chuckles. I've retired from a Cambridge academic institute specialising in computer science for non-laboratory research. I'm comfortable with, and enjoy relating to folk from a wide range of academic and social backgrounds.

Ideal Partner:

I don't have a fixed concept of all an 'ideal' partner's qualities, as folk can reveal hidden depths when one gets to know them. I am looking for just one partner, though - definitely a non-smoker, a good sense of humour, and able to 'escape' the normal daily life for a few hours every 3 or 4 weeks.
