About Me:

As a married guy in my early 40s with a family, I understand what is at stake and the importance of discretion. Standing at 6 feet tall, I’m a broad-shouldered rugby player who enjoys good food and wine. Life takes me all over. One minute I am working in the City of London, the next I am hiking in the countryside.

Although I have just mentioned my job, you won't hear me banging on about work. I am an intelligent, qualified professional and the job that I do reflects that, but I know the importance of this being an escape and I won't bore you with stuff that frankly bores the hell out of me!

I am one of life's adventurers and I am lucky that my professional life often takes me on my travels, both around the UK and abroad.

I am kind, conscientious, and polite, which is balanced with a dry, sarcastic - sometimes dark - sense of humour. I’m someone who knows what they want and I do NOT have any baggage or issues that might require you to perform the role of a surrogate therapist.

Importantly, I’m straightforward — there are no weird surprises with me, and I believe in keeping things honest and grounded as well as enjoyable and exciting.

Nothing shocks me anymore... tell me your worst, I absolutely guarantee that I can trump it.

I am not looking for drama or heartache, I just want to be that text message that makes you smile!

I am not really sure how to describe my "ideal partner"... I am open-minded and happy to explore new experiences. If we click, we click.

What will make us click? That glint in your eye. That smile on your face when you are reading a message from me - that secret, cheeky, mischievous smile that's so genuine and that only I get to see.

Looks are genuinely not that important... I am more about the connection than I am a particular look.

I have access to my own car and am happy to travel, but I am not big into one night stands. Ideally, I would like to get to know the real you, the side of you that you don't feel you can show to the rest of the world.

I am not looking for someone who uses Excel to manage the dates they get from this site. Also, I am not big into people who are highly strung or negative.

Rudeness is a big turn-off for me... manners, after all, cost nothing.

Ultimately, I want to meet a real person for something real, but I am not looking for love. Life is good where it is, I just need a little something else to feel alive.
