About Me:

I'm mid 60s but still feel 10 years younger!

I work full time as an office worker ... conscientious but try to keep reasonable work life - balance, occasionally that gets out of quilter.

Work hard, play hard!

Love outdoors. Still play five a side football , at least was until lockdowns hope to resume soon. Also play a bit of golf ... not a fanatic but enjoy the scenery, (played recently and enjoyed listening to the Curlews calling shame about my golf ) and exercise and that get away feeling ... I find sport keeps life in perspective. Also love walking hills, countryside wherever. Adopted name of Sharp Edge on Blencathra ... not sure would cross it again ... walking rather than climbing preferable now! Had started yoga classes several months before lockdowns and looking forward to returning soon. Still enjoy day out on the hills or along the beach, lots of stamina. easy going, sense humour equally happy putting world to rights!

In a perfect world they would live and / or work along the Tyne Valley of Newcastle preferably north of the Tyne ... I live in Tyne Valley but my office Newcastle North ... so this is just about practicality of being able to meet and not waste eons of time travelling! So this doesn't rule out others but one can't totally ignore the logistics, especially if both partners in crime have other commitments. Given its a less than perfect world lets say northern england / southern scotland !!

I am easy to get along with. Lets chat and perhaps meet to do so. An hour to meet for coffee worth the effort and with nothing to lose. Hope to find someone to enjoy each other’s company and with whom we each find some level of 'spark' but lets give it a try. Nothing ventured nothing gained!

Come on there must be plenty of people with similar aspirations, well i know there are its just finding them or more to the point one of them! Especially during Covid restrictions and working predominantly or partly from home doesn't help. Although once I have someone to meet I do have freedom of choice when I 'attend' the office which provides some flexibility.
