About Me:

Unlike my husband, I struggle somewhat with the concept of womb-to-tomb monogamy and I have found myself, recently, rather drawn to the idea of having a harmless wee fling.

This site seemed like a good place for that because I am certainly not looking to run off into the sunset with anyone. I’m simply in search of a bit more excitement in one small but significant area of my life.

Fortunately, there’s an equation for that!

Excitement = Attraction + Obstacle

So, basically I need something that is attractive to me (hopefully a very desirable you!?) plus some kind of issue (your ultimate unattainability, perhaps!?) that would lead to longing and anticipation (Bingo! - Excitement!).

Easy, non?!

So, what would a man who would be desirable to me be like?

I guess you need to read the bit below for that.

In the meantime, here’s a bit more about me.

We relocated from Scandinavia to the UK last year and I am enjoying the lovely pubs and the beautiful English countryside. A picturesque walk and a cosy pub lunch might just be the perfect second date. I’m always keen to explore new territory.

Baby animals, especially penguins
Green, orange, and yellow Skittles
Exquisitely luxurious beds
Learning about perfume
Old Cubans
Heights, views, and panoramas.
Cello music
Aubergine Parmigiana
The funny stuff on Radio 4
Open minds
Smooth skin
Gazing in awe at the night sky

Things I absolutely avoid:

Hesitation

Pomposity
Beginner musicians
Stickiness
Soap operas
My mother-in-law

Films that feature Keira Knightly
Church
Ugly shoes
Sharks

Random positive and negative things (you decide which) about me include:

Being brilliant at reverse parking into tiny spaces.
Wishing dogs would live forever.
Causing other women to look me up and down in stealth mode.
Having a GPS level sense of direction.
Not recycling sometimes.
Really enjoying anal sex.
Breaking rules.
Failing to finish stuff.
Feeling genuine shock each time I don’t win the lottery.
Picking up other people’s litter in beautiful places.
Being highly selective in choosing a lover.
Stomping in puddles.
Loving my childhood sweetheart forever.
Believing the end is nigh.
Hoping I’ll meet someone wonderful on here before it all goes to hell.

Ideal Partner:

Well, first and foremost, he’d be kindness personified - the sort of person who sees the good in everyone (at least to start with anyway!). He’d make me smile and laugh so much that my face hurts, and he’d be very confident but absolutely not arrogant. He’d definitely be worldly-wise and may well have lived in other countries.

I’d especially adore him if he had a sailboat (a man who knows his knots!) moored somewhere stunning or some kind of enchanting love pad that we could cosy up in.

He’d probably be on the older side, perhaps even retired, although I’m certainly not discounting the idea of a younger lover. I do like a fairly dominant man however, so don’t be expecting me to lead the way (at least not in bed).

He’d definitely always have time for long lazy post-lunch or dinner liaisons and he might even be the kind of lover who could possibly get away for a night or two on occasions.

He’d be cultured and enjoy the Arts, but he’d also be sporty in some way. I like a sophisticated man with good coordination and strong arms!

I’m not at all fussed about his looks (or his age) as it’s charisma that matters most. And I find, anyway, that people become more attractive physically to me the more I like them. And vice versa.

I would be very curious about his image and the clothes he chooses to wear however, as my work involves helping people to look the very best they can, and I might not be able to resist offering the odd piece of advice, if I thought it would be appreciated - in the nicest possible way, that is!

He will most definitely have an interesting profile and he would never ever dream of sending a boring ‘how are you/how’s your day going/had much luck yet?’ message to anyone with whom he was truly hoping to connect.
