About Me:

- Mixed race, born and brought up in London. 5 foot 7 and muscular.

- Apparently I look (or act?) younger than my age.

- High achieving and smart; university educated and v successful since.

- I don’t take myself too seriously: my friends would say I have a wicked sense of humour.

- I love working out: either at the gym or riding a bike which I do pretty much every day. I focus a lot on my diet, but my weakness is chocolate-based snacks when I am tired.

- I like good food and fine wine: I figure if you’re going to indulge, you might as well do it properly!

- I push myself hard in and out of work, so to relax I like to kick back with a glass of whisky and watch some comedy or a box set (Breaking Bad fan!)

- Music: all sorts, from Bowie to Prince, 80’s and 90’s pop and R&B and electronica.eat out or go out that often, so I figure that when I do I might as well enjoy the experience!

Ideal Partner:

I’m in a mostly happy marriage, but our marriage has become a partnership and a friendship, with no intimacy, fun or excitement: we spend our time managing our lives, rather than enjoying time together. I’m not looking to change that in the slightest however and have decided to find the missing spark, intimacy and excitement elsewhere.

I’m pretty relaxed about the form that takes though. I’m not really looking for one-night-stands; or for relationships with multiple people. I am looking for a relationship with just one person; I have no sense of expectation that it necessarily becomes lasting or enduring, but it would be nice if it did.

I’m looking for fun in a relationship: and to me that means both in and out of the bedroom! If you don’t want to chat, flirt and tease, then move along: I don’t think this is going to work out - this can’t only be about sex. If you only want to chat, flirt and tease, then move along as well: I am looking for a physical relationship, not a virtual one.

Ideal partner: someone smart (which does not necessarily mean highly-educated!) to stimulate my mind; someone who takes care of their body and appearance!

I’m not looking for another wife or another co-dependent relationship. I am looking for a fun, relaxed relationship where we can enjoy one another - in every meaning of that expression - without any sense of expectation. That’s important because fitting in an affair around normal family life and working life is difficult; I know that and understand that: I’m looking for a relationship that is thrilling, not burdensome; that is exciting and draws me in, not something that is an obligation.

If you believe in astrology, please do not message me. Sorry - I just can’t take seriously people who even have an interest in that particular topic. Astronomy: that’s a different matter… please fill in the ‘express application form’ and I’ll get right back to you! If you don’t know the difference, then, um, I’m not quite sure what to say other than you’d better be smokin’ hot to make me take leave of my senses! :-D

Hygiene: so many female profiles on IE make it clear they are looking for hygienic men. I am at a loss for words on this topic: it is clear that for so many women to explicitly call this out means that there must be a huge number of men on here who don’t know how to operate a shower. Aside from that being rather revolting, I can only be glad that this stacks the odds in my favour somewhat. Do not fear: I wash regularly, and know one end of a toothbrush from the other. That’s a sentence I never imagined having to write.
