Hi, I’m Jon, an easy going professional who loves music, food and drink, but hates drama, pretentiousness and snobbery.

A healthy dose of humour is essential in any and every situation, even if it’s a little dark. And I love a bit of sarcasm and verbal sparing.

I have strong opinions but am completely open minded to other points of view. In fact, I’m very open minded and relaxed about most things, hence the username!

I’m a regular gym goer, more on the muscular side but still working on shifting some unwanted lockdown pounds.

I’m regularly told I’m a good looking guy (but I’m modest - honest!) and have a friendly open nature. I’ve got piercing blue eyes and all my own hair, dark brown and thick (oh go in then, run your fingers through it). I’m 5’8 on a hot day - not particularly tall but not the shortest. A lot of ladies seem to be looking for the classic ‘tall, dark and handsome’ type guy. Well, as Meatloaf sang ‘Two out of 3 ain’t bad’! And if it is an issue, I’m happy invest in some cuban heels. Or 6 inch stilettos if you catch me in the right mood!

I spend my work life ‘suited and booted’ but tend to be more comfortable in jeans and T shirt. But always willing to make an effort for the right person or occasion.

I’d like to think I’m good company but most importantly a good listener. I love the company of women, and have always had female friends.

I’m confident enough to know I’ll get on with most people but secure enough not to expect everyone to like me. And that’s fine. I’m a big boy and can handle rejection just fine thanks!

Ideal Partner:

I’ve never really had a ‘type’. I’m more attracted to fun open people who are grounded and ideally sane. Size, shape, ethnicity, hair colour etc is largely irrelevant.

I’d love to find someone to hang out with, have fun and be intimate. But I don’t believe in pressuring anyone into something they don’t want. I see no pleasure in that. 100% mutual respect is essential. Happy to chat to anyone and if there’s a connection, maybe drinks and dinner. But I’m happy to go slow.

I’m basically looking for a fun, safe distraction from the everyday grind. And I’m not here to try and shag everyone on the website. I played around plenty in my youth and have neither the time, energy or inclination to be a player now. One fun person for something reasonably regular would be perfect.
