About Me:

I look for the fun in everything and I love to laugh (sometimes inappropriately!).
I love the outdoors - despite being deskbound for my job, I spend as much of the rest of my time outside as I can in the fresh air - travelling, hiking, biking and photography. But I can also scrub up when necessary and I love good food and wine (Italian is my fave).
Rather modestly, I like to think I'm intelligent, well read and love to chat about anything (and nothing). I've also been lucky enough to have travelled a lot and love exploring places and cultures. I can't just sit by the pool on holiday - that's just not me.
And yes, I really am 59 and I really am 6'1". And yes, all my teeth are my own and I do have hair.

Ideal Partner:

I don't have a physical "type", but there does have to be that elusive attraction - don't you think?

In a nutshell, it will really help if you are:
Someone quick to laugh.
Someone who looks at the world sideways - definitely a free spirit.
Someone with a sparkle in their eye, suggesting hidden layers beneath.
Someone who wants to rediscover that spark, the excitement and fun and, if we hit it off, will want to take it further.

Just be a real, "normal" person. No airs and graces!

Definitely no gold diggers or women who "love shopping" and expect to be spoilt. We all know what that means...
