Best laid plans... Well I like everyone it certainly wasn't my plan to find myself on a site like this. However, there comes a time when you realize there needs to be a bit more to life than just the mundane. In that way this is my quest for a

I'm a kind and considerate, degree educated guy in my mid forties. I am fortunate to work for myself having broken away from years of working for others which has been both liberating and daunting in equal measure. I'm pretty athletic and enjoy swimming and running in particular but I'm generally happier outside be it walking in the countryside, by a lake or by the sea.

Beyond sport I enjoy the travel, food, music and film. Reading is something I've also discovered more as I've got older and love to read things that challenge and make me think and reflect.

Ideal Partner:

I'm ideally looking for someone who is seeking a more traditional affair. Whist a casual situation would be ok I would prefer to find someone with spark and chemistry who wants to connect and build something more than purely the physical.

On the physical side I'm pretty open minded, flexible and enjoy the journey and seeing what we discover about each other. I do seem to be drawn to dark haired ladies however I'm equally happy to be swayed should any blondes wish to try. Beyond this I don't have a type as such a lady with a sharp mind and comfortable within herself is perfect. Bonus points for classic lingerie collections.
