About Me:

I'm very fit and in my early 70s. I enjoy good health. I'm a creative writer. I do Zen meditation daily. I don't like going to pubs or restaurants - I'd much rather cook a tasty and healthy meal. I'm comfortably well-off. A couple of my heroes are Beethoven and Wittgenstein. (Does that sound strange?) I enjoy good novels. Louise Doughty, for example, is a brilliant writer. One of my big passions is writing (mainly short stories so far). Oh, and I watch a lot of movies and series. (I'm pretty broad-minded when it comes to movies, and really enjoy discussing and analyzing them.)

I'm not a "looker". I do quite strenuous Pilates twice a week and do fast walks up local hills. I do some weight training at home, but I'm definitely not a "hunk" - sorry if that's your thing! I enjoy good conversion and touch, and am able to express how I feel. I think only my face betrays my age.

Ideal Partner:

I would love to meet a woman a bit younger than myself who is physically active, slim (or at least slim-ish :-) and keeps herself fit. Someone who enjoys stimulating conversation would be plus. Likewise, someone who has a rich inner life and is not dependent on "going out" or having lots of holidays abroad. As for the relationship dimension - I've marked that as "see how it goes", as this doesn't seem like the time to be too specific.
