About Me:

I’m really rather boring to be honest. When I’m not at work I enjoy walking with my dog, cooking, eating and drinking. I like watching dramas on TV, but they need to be British because I don’t understand American accents. I work shifts, which means I spend a lot of time staring out of the window watching the sun rise. I love my dog very much, even though he is a f***wit. I also have an adult son living with me - ditto. I like 80s music and I once dated someone who had dated the girlfriend of Simon LeBon from Duran Duran. Which means I’ve slept with Simon LeBon once removed; that’s my claim to fame. My other claim to being an interesting person is that I once reached the final stage of a job interview for MI6 - I passed on everything except the psychological assessment. I can’t disclose any more information about that though, or I would have to kill you.

Ideal Partner:

I’m probably on totally the wrong site for this, but I’m actually looking for non-judgemental friendship. Someone I can chat to about how bloody awful life can be, and how bloody wonderful at the same time. Of course it would be wonderful if that friendship turned into something deeper, but I’m not interested in meeting people who want to book a hotel room immediately after saying “Hello” (but best of luck to those of you who are using this site for those purposes). I have spent many years in an unhappy marriage; I love my husband but he doesn’t love me (can’t think why) and there has been cruelty and anger on both sides. So it would be lovely to have a secret friend who is totally outside of all that, who doesn’t mind me being me.
