About Me:

I am an educated, sophisticated cultured lady. I love the theatre and classical music. I can converse on a wide range of topics. I was brought up in South Africa but moved to the UK in my twenties. I’ve also lived in France and Edinburgh. I really enjoy travel and have visited many countries and regularly visit family in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and New York but am just as happy travelling round Europe and the UK. I am very adventurous and backpacked solo round the world at 46.
I have a joie de vivre and a positive attitude to life. I can be serious but also fun and flirty. I am very affectionate. I look and behave much younger than I am therefore looking for someone who is younger in behaviour and mind rather than someone purportedly similar in age.

Ideal Partner:

I am primarily seeking a widowed, divorced, or separated man - I believe they do exist on this site - I would like a longer term relationship (in time) but retaining separate homes and independence whilst still enjoying doing things together - ie travel, theatre, music, etc. I enjoy my independence but I also like the company of a man who is well travelled, who enjoys good conversation, fine wine and dining as well as walking, weekends/holidays away, modest cycling, keeping fit as I do and of course intimacy with the right person. Some if not all of those! I love all the arts and paint for my own enjoyment.

My ideal man is tall, clean shaven, reasonable shape and well educated, well spoken, intelligent and cultured with good conversation and a sense of humour.
