Here goes…

Despite feeling racked with guilt, I find myself on this site out of utter desperation and boredom! I’m just ‘dipping my toe in the water’, so to speak, so bear with me. (I’m not interested in arranging sticky meet-ups in a God forsaken Premier Inn off the M25 after a few messages, so if that’s what you’re after, probably best you pass me by).

I am, however, very much in need of some stimulation; both cerebral and physical. Like so many others here, I am trapped in a marriage that has made me feel invisible. And it’s just a criminal waste, as I’m incredibly passionate, interested (and interesting!), intelligent, funny and damn hot!

Physically, I’m a very youthful 54, 5’ 8”, blonde hair, blue eyed size 12 lady in good shape with a fabulous sense of style. I’m also whip smart, an engaging conversationalist, and well read. I live near the sea, which remains one of my biggest passions. I like to walk in the countryside with my dogs, mess about on my paddle board, enjoy excellent food, impromptu bbq’s on the beach, good wine, movies, travel, and curling up with a book.

I’m definitely a logically bunny, and don’t have much patience for ‘woo’ and far out nonsense. (A typical Gemini…can’t be dealing with all that astrology balls). I think there is enough to delight and wonder in the universe without having to resort to make-believe!

I love practically all types of music, provided it’s good. And I’ve a pretty eclectic taste in entertainment, but will admit to having a soft spot for SciFi and anything Viking related (wow, that makes me sound such a sad geek - honestly, I’m not!). Not so hot on the soppy rom-com stuff (Notting Hill - painful), but love a good comedy (Peter Kaye - genius!) I also think it’s only fair to confess that soaps and the Kardashian’s make my eyes bleed and weep for the future of humanity.

There’s so much more to tell, but I’ll leave it at that for now…

Someone with a real sense of fun and a quick wit. And brains - knowing ‘your’ from ‘you’re’ and ‘there’ from ‘they’re’ would be great! Lastly - good manners! Honestly, everything else is pretty fluid, but those first three attributes are ‘must haves’ for me.

Animal lovers (not in the biblical sense, obv) and sailors get bonus points. And if you’re tall and handsome with all of the above, then I would question your honesty. (I mean, really? Is anyone that perfect?!).
