About Me:

I believe we are shaped by our experiences, we move forward according to our desires and that life is a journey with as many or as few stops as wish to make.

So what of my journey so far?

I have always had a thirst for understanding: be that understanding things around us, the motivations of people we encounter or the bottomless need of humankind for power, control and unhealthy snacks!

Over time I've discovered that often things are complex: there are no easy answers and few healthy snacks!

But I've also learnt, very slowly, to appreciate the journey, to open my eyes to what I experience, rather than a headlong rush to some unknown destination to the point of ignoring all the wonderful things around me.

I've learnt to realise that everyone and everything has intrinsic worth and beauty (well possibly excepting myself)!

Often the meaning comes from within. Knowledge is not wisdom.

To add a little of the mundane: based in Oxfordshire, occasionally travel to London.

Ideal Partner:

Ideal Partner? Goodness knows.

But a similar thirst would be a start. Someone wanting to share, teach and possibly be taught?
