About Me:

I am a 73 year old man who does not look or act his age.

I had a career in finance from which I retired in 2010 to be able to do things which my workload had limited. Strangely, I then took up a challenging charitable role which kept me busy for the next ten years but, since it was voluntary, I could get on with the things that I had been missing, travelling (but not for the firm), boating, gardening, shooting and socialising, socialising in quite a big way. I have kept up with all of these activities but now have a less arduous charitable role.

I was married at a young age and have three grown up children and five grandchildren, all of whom I adore. I divorced then remarried twenty years ago to a girl I had known for over twenty years but then fell deeply in love with and she had the same feelings for me. We are still a loving couple although her health is failing.

We live most of the time in Dorset but still have our house in London which we use every month because we still have many friends there.

I suspect that I am a bit old fashioned. I am not in the least woke. Politically I am rightish rather than left. I am not at all keen on what I see as extreme and costly steps to stop using hydrocarbons in the UK when we contribute so little to global climate change.

Ideal Partner:

I cannot imagine an ideal partner.

I would like to meet someone who is friendly, active, not woke, ready for a few laughs, then let’s see where it goes.
