So, this is thrilling and terrifying. Wanting an illicit affair is so many different, complex things wrapped into one heavy, shiny package. It is a sort of madness. Or weakness. Or vanity. Sense of missing out on opportunities to find something amazing that's missing at home amidst the life's necessities. A secret wish for tender, awesome moments that leave a sense of magic. Selfish sense of entitlement to look after my desires. Stupidity.

I am not looking for simple NSA sex. Connections must be built, trust earned, confidence established. This is a long-term game for me. But this is also a tiny (if sparkling) fraction of my life, a little indulgence that I can savour time-to-time.
