About Me:

Sort of quirky recently retired young at heart chap. Happy in his own skin, interested in lots of things.

I'm kind, generous and funny. I might come across as shy but I'm not really.

I am in my early 60s...(not going to lie) and have the usual scuffs, scrapes and dings of an older model, but all generally sound and in good condition.

I think that on the whole people are kind and good and that the world is on the whole a nice place. Does this make me Pollyanna-ish? I don't think so.

I have a good life, plenty to keep me occupied and engaged with and on the whole a nice home life, it's just...ugh... something is missing. I guess that is excitement perhaps? Yes. Physical intimacy? Yes.

I like trips out and trips away to interesting places with interesing people, you know, little adventures. I suppose I'm looking for someone to accompany me. This may or may not lead to anything intimate or romantic. Friends as a starting point, is always a good thing and if it leads to something else, well so much the better. If not that's ok too. I'm not desperate, I travel hopefully, maybe I will arrive, maybe not. The journey is the important thing I believe.

Ideal Partner:

I haven't got a type in mind from a physical point of view, (I'm not that sort of person) all I would ask is that you are active, interesting and we can have a good conversation and laugh together. If we can meet and find each other attractive so much the better.

It would be great if you like art galleries and museums and like walks in the country around the South West.
