About Me:

When I summon the courage to look in the mirror, I often chuckle at the memory of how Terry Wogan’s TOGS offered a sardonic response to the daily lunacies of this world. Terry’s banter about broadcasting friends, such as Twice Nightly (there’s ambition for you) spring to mind, along with discussion about “provender”, which generated fierce debate, especially about the delicacy in Aberdeen known as a “riowie”, as well as a host of other characters, including Chuffer Dandridge(actor manager-resting) and of course the lady from Japan living in Wales, Myfanwy Izitchi. I subscribe wholeheartedly to the TOGS philosophy of life and run like the clappers when I hear the moaning of a rival collection of beings, known as the GOGS or Grumpy Old Gits.

I have plenty of interests to keep the GOGS from the door, and also keep me out of mischief. However, I readily admit that the absence of intimacy has brought me here, in search of a lady in the same predicament, who is looking for a kindred spirit to make good this absence. I have no wish to see the wheels come off my marital arrangement nor indeed any one else's. That is why total discretion would be a fundamental and unwavering part of any relationship.

Ideal Partner:

I would like to meet just the one lady who I hope will be a friend for good conversation, shared interests and a healthy portion of humour and banter. I hope we will find creative ways of staying in touch during the intervals between meeting up. I think Chuffer Dandridge might be a more realistic source of advice about this than Twice Nightly. To be discussed!
