About Me:

Some might say I’m trapped in a 1970s time warp. Jeans had flares, rock groups only had four members and football referees didn’t have yellow cards.Things have however moved on. As have I. I blink and realise I’ve retired. In between I married, worked for a global company for 30 years spending a significant time away from home. People and relationships naturally change. I am still married and do not want to change that but we both tend to lead our separate lives nowadays. I miss the spark of being with someone special and the affection and intimacy that can develop. I would like to meet a woman who I could reignite that spark with. I’m reasonably tall and in pretty good shape having played many sports all my life. I tend to stick to golf more nowadays but I love to go walking in the moors and hills around Lancashire. I like to think I am ageing gracefully but retain a youthful approach to life.

Ideal Partner:

I’m hoping to meet someone who would enjoy being with me. Someone who would feel a sense of excitement about spending time together. I can’t paint a picture of that person. Intimacy in my view is deepest when it comes from the soul. I would prefer that person however to have a spirit, to want to have conversations and to say what she thinks. Someone who takes pride in her appearance and has an outlook on the world. Only time would tell if a relationship could develop that would provide us both with what we want. Yes there are complications. I know that and have no doubt that other difficulties may well arise. Those can only be addressed by talking about them together.
