About Me:

I’ve lived a bit of an unorthodox life, which has been high on adventure, and led by my heart more than my head. The result is that I am not rich materially, but am rich in experience.

That experience now informs the passion of my life which is creative writing, and though I say it myself, I’m pretty damned good.

To support this selfish lifestyle I upcycle and resell vintage teak furniture, which keeps me very busy in the summer months, less so in the winter. Oh, I enjoy it too.

From my thirties I became something of an academic, completing two masters degrees in quick succession. They didn’t advance my career much, but they did turn me into an avid lifelong learner.
