About Me:

I'm interested in the outdoors, nature, art, music and animals. I love animals, especially well mannered and affectionate dogs, like a soppy Labrador or a bonkers spaniel.
You'll tend to find me outside much of the time: in my garden, working on my hobby small-holding, or walking my two dogs.
I work in healthcare in a job I find quite boring, and my downtime is precious to me, and I like to plan things so I get the most out of it.
You will rarely find me watching TV, maybe the very occasional brain mush like Bake Off ,which I find peculiarly relaxing after a day of concentration.
I like literature, ancient history, and I have a passion for learning new things ( I'm looking at an OU general degree just for the sheer enjoyment of studying new subjects).
Hill walking, going to the gym ( my least favourite exercise!), working on the land all keep me fairly fit.
I wear a suit for work, but I'm no fashionista. I do appreciate a smartly turned out lady though.
Hopefully visiting Shetland and Iceland this year ( loved Rome last year).
I'm just six feet tall, and well built without being overly large. I am 59 though--a gentleman of a certain age--so I can't pretend to have movie star looks, sadly.

Ideal Partner:

I'd enjoy feeling listened to and valued more than anything.
I'd like to meet a woman who feels the same. I'd love to share thoughts, ideas and connection with someone.
And everything that follows from feeling comfortable and attracted to someone would be lovely too.
