About Me:

I'm tall, well educated, well travelled, articulate and scrub up pretty well I think. I've been here before, with varying degrees of success I have to admit. But that has taught me what I'm looking for and how to behave. Treating each other with respect is important.

I'm self confident, but not arrogant. I'll want to hear what you have to say and hope that you find me interesting.

I don't understand football and rarely watch TV news these days. But I'm very curious about the world, having worked on five continents, and absolutely adore good food and drink.

I'm practical and good with my hands (yes, dear reader, I do mean like that as well). I love the outdoors and nature and am happiest sailing on the sea or walking my dog early in the morning before anyone else is about.

I want to find someone with whom I can have a proper relationship (even if very bounded, as we respect each other's constraints). That will mean getting to know each other and really enjoying each other's company. We need to click on all levels for this to work, and to be a positive secret joy in both our lives. I want to feel that frisson when you send me a message or when we meet. Delicious anticipation.

At the beginning, I'll take my lead from you and will be respectful and cautious. I won't be sending you unsolicited pictures, but I'm not shy and retiring in the slightest.

Be able to meet in central London. With planning I can make myself available for afternoon rendezvous, an evening drink after work and a long night with less sleep than we need at our age.
