56 - I am not sure how that happened, I certainly feel younger than that. I had to explain why litter picking was called Wombling to a 30 year old the other day. That made me feel my age….

I keep myself active, I do a lot of walking and general fitness, but I do have a sweet tooth and have a thing for Percy Pigs. I am no fitness model but I am slim.

I would say I’m fairly attractive for my age which is to say that the days of people looking at me as I walk past have definitely been and gone, but I’m probably less “mumsy” than others are who are my own age. I am not vain, I colour my grey roots but apart from that I let nature take its course.

I don’t do social media in any form and I am very private. I do need a mental connection with someone so whilst I am on here for the same reason as everyone else - I need that cerebral match otherwise it just won’t work for me. Humour a must!

Ideal Partner:

I’m really not attracted by younger men - whilst I appreciate their physical attributes, I wouldn’t really go for anyone less than 50. Probably someone close to my own age would be ideal. If you know what Spangles are then that’s about right.

Don’t really have a preference looks wise - taller and heavier than me is a good start… sense of humour and intelligence is very important. Someone who reads and can hold a conversation… someone who makes me laugh.

Dislikes: Couch potatoes, smokers, heavy drinkers, misogynists and men who hate their wives.
