I am well travelled personally and professionally and my life has been enriched by such experiences. I’ve been fortunate I know this and yet…..

I am a calm and thoughtful man but find myself with an accelerated heart beat at times. Either the cat has just jumped out and scared me or maybe, just maybe, the thought of a future without the feelings and romance an affair with the right person brings is one that I don’t wish to contemplate. And so yes to the question, have I had an affair before…. ‘A life well lived.’

Honesty, good manners, trust and shared values. Fun and laughter. Attraction and a willingness to be totally open.

About humour, the best of aphrodisiacs. Mine is dry, slightly sarcastic but never cruel. The best jokes are on me. I do enjoy a little self deprecation. It amuses me and I like to laugh at myself as well as the world in general. It is probably why I do enjoy people watching sitting at a table with great company and let the storytelling and banter flow.

I am confident in myself, in my interactions with others and the world in general. An opinion on most things but always open to yours. Free flowing conversation is a wonderful precursor to any adventure.

I always ensure I am well dressed, groomed and with, what I hope, a unique fragrance and present myself in the best possible way. Classic and modern styles but self aware enough to dress my age and in a style that compliments.

Ideal Partner:

Having used this site before I know there is very little value in detailing expectations. I have surprised myself previously as to whom I have been both attracted to and thoroughly enjoyed their company.

Intelligence and confidence would be my starting points, very closely followed by femininity and humour. Intelligence, in my opinion, comes in many forms; quick witted, considered and the ability to laugh at the absurdities. Knowing when to be casual and when not to be.

I am really looking for a longer term relationship, with the depth of involvement to be developed. That doesn't mean I would not consider shorter term with the right partner.
