About Me:

First and foremost I'm a sapiosexual. It is an oft overused term on here but if we can engage each others minds then I'm hooked.

I'm an unashamed fan of the arts and am in complete awe of those who can perform and feel they deserve much more credit than they sometimes receive.

As for me, in the past I had a senior position but made the decision to walk away from that. Life is short and I felt that I needed more from it. I only tell you this to give you some insight into what drives me and hence what is likely to engage me.

Character-wise once I know what I want I will focus on it intently and will achieve my goals. However I'm not loud or brash; rather I take a quite and more considered approach.

Still like to train when time allows and try to lift regularly. Age takes it toll but one still perseveres. I am no oil painting but will scrub up well.

Please note that the epicurean in me refers to both the conventional meaning and also to an interest in the more philosophical underpinnings.

How does one define the complexity of desire?

Well certain things can be excluded: no ditherers, fence sitters or procrastinators. Far more attractive is a certain core of confidence although it may not be obvious on the surface.

Other than that simply someone who can engage on many fronts with humour, passion and intensity: be that idle conversation, hobbies, the meaning of life or about one's desires.
