About Me:

I’m a thoughtful, kind and empathetic woman- clever, determined and intelligent. I don’t suffer fools gladly, am outspoken when I need to be but generally quite introverted. I’m a good listener and a pretty decent talker!

I like my own space but am getting rather more of it than even I need which is leaving……a space.

To say I am happily married is obviously pushing it given that I am typing this but, well, I kinda am and I don’t want that to change. I guess I wish I wasn’t doing this but needs must and all that.
Absolutely need to be on someone’s wavelength before anything else happens- and that means an intellectual connection and mutual respect.

I have a somewhat dark and wicked sense of humour, can see the absurd in all this and most things.

Whilst I do the usual Edinburgh stuff like cultivating my own sourdough starter and the odd bit of wild swimming I’m firmly down to earth and, as I get older, find pretentiousness and general wokery a bit of a turn off. Spare me the virtue signalling mob- my charity begins and ends with those who mean something to me.

Ideal Partner:

Looking for a clever man who can dig beneath the surface.
Have a submissive side which needs brought out.
Ideally someone who I can become friends with first, someone who isn’t looking to meet all the time or bombard me with communication or demands, who respects my domestic arrangements and limitations as I would respect others. If you push too hard I will run!
