About Me:

My basic info: I'm just about retired, solvent and ready to meet someone special.
Not quite given up on finding a long term relationship after being widowed - life and schedules are becoming more complicated as the years go by - but am open to sharing time with an interesting and intelligent woman in whatever form works best for us both.
Particularly miss the physical side of being in a relationship, preferably when it's also accompanied with good conversation, great banter and general playfulness.
I'm a big cinema fan, preferring arthouse and left-of-centre movies, theatre, live music of many genres, good food, and also love to travel.
Have lived overseas a couple of times but have yet to explore much of the UK so am looking for an excuse to discover more of our own country.
I hope that I'm interesting and interested, kind, tolerant and optimistic for what may come next.
I'm also fit and healthy, and put a priority on looking after myself in terms of exercise and diet (apart from the odd chocolate or cheese lapse!).
I'm happy to have the same waist measurement and to weigh the same as I did 30-odd years ago.
If you also have plenty of energy and passion for the next chapter, which may look slightly different from what has come before, it would be lovely to hear from you.
It's flattering, but I'm really not interested in anyone under the age of 50, but am happy to travel within reason for the right person.
