About Me:

Hiya! I'm an easy-going, sociable, chatty and friendly type who's happiest out in the wilds of nature (hiking, trudging, scrambling, all weathers), dashing about on a tennis court, nestled in the corner of a cosy rural pub surrounded by real ale and a game of Scrabble (peek at my tiles and it's a no-go, I'm very competitive!) or moseying about in food markets and museums, theatres or galleries. So if you want to play a game of tennis in a portrait gallery that's built above a pub on the top of a mountain pass which happens to excel in street food, then we're probably going to get along.

I've got two boys who are into arts, crafts, gaming, nature and theatre (though possibly not in that exact order) and a home life that involves a mixed and very intensive set of disability care responsibilities across all three family members, much of which has led me down this merry path to the wondrous (if slightly intimidating) world of I.E. and all that it might contain. EXCITEMENT AWAITS. Or possibly just a lot of clicking on names and photos hoping they're not bots. Which is its own kind of excitement I suppose, but real people need only apply.

I'm looking for fun, a relaxed and sociable time, laughs (please be able to take a joke, plus I'm often at my best having the mickey taken out of me), intimacy and physical connection obviously - not much of that left at home - and ideally a meeting of minds because confidence and the ability to write and converse in grammatically correct sentences makes you very attractive. Let's have a drink and a natter and a wander in the great outdoors and see what happens!

Ideal Partner:

I'm hoping to meet sparky, confident, interesting people who can hold their own in a conversation, and have a similar thirst for meeting other new people and seeing if they click. I like people who laugh a lot, who have dry senses of humour, who are confident (confidence is sooo attractive) and I don't really have an ideal body type or shape or anything like that - I'm up for exploring all sorts and its the person who makes it for me. I don't mind travelling to meet up with people and I like to bounce a few messages back and forth before dashing into things - but also think if you know, you know, and should seize the day! An ideal first date would definitely be a quiet cosy pub, or a walk in the woods, or both - something low key and discrete with a drink to oil the wheels - anything to help us relax into a natter and smiles and a connection in the eyes that can tell us whatever we need to know about what happens next...
