Thanks for stopping by. Here's a little about me that I'd like to share: when I think of myself, I hope I am warm, open-minded and practical. I like to think I have a good sense of humour and am well read but who really knows?

I'm average height, greying hair, blue eyes and about average size - maybe a smidge under-tall for my height but I'm working on that - slowly, very slowly.

Would I say that I'm intelligent? Of course I would! Wouldn't everyone? But I am university educated although that was a long, long time ago. I was fortunate to retire from an engineering area a little early so I enjoy some free time.

It should be noted, I am very happily married but looking for something else to see where it leads me.

I ride a motorbike and spent time in the countryside. I enjoy wild swimming and walking in the hills - not that there are many round here of course. What else? I cook and I mend things and other stuff.
