The first in my family to attend university, I'm very down-to-earth and cut short a City banking career due to an intolerance for big egos and sharp elbows. I now work in sustainability and am genuinely looking to make the world a better place.

The three attributes I'm complimented on most are my blue eyes, broad shoulders and sense of humour.

I love to cook, but I often sing very badly while doing so (which might be a function of having a glass of wine or two while in the kitchen).

I've outlasted my hair but not my vigour. As for keeping active, I enjoy running, rowing and swimming.

Why am I here? It's a tired tale, but my marriage has lost all passion. I wish it were otherwise, but I am looking for someone in a similar situation. To be clear, I am not looking to leave, rather for a relief valve to help me stay.

I did make a match some time ago and had a successful fling for nearly a year. She relocated, and the distance was too great so we parted amicably. It would be great to find someone new to add excitement to each other's lives.

Ideal Partner:

I'm looking for someone who is dynamic and energetic. If so, she's likely feeling as frustrated as I am. Discretion is a must as is a sense of humor.

The women I tend to get along with best are usually well educated and well informed. Although fitness is important, I'm not looking for a bodybuilder. Some softness and curves would be appreciated.

I'm definitely not looking for a "sugar baby" or similar arrangement. In fact, I don't know what I'd have to say to someone 30 years my junior. Confidence, self-sufficiency and life experience are sexy.
