About Me:

Having (just) reached a certain age and having been a (mostly) dutiful wife for the last (good God is it that many?) years I have decided that it is time for some me time. I am just looking for a relief from the daily routine with a chance to meet new people, make fresh conversation and, who knows, maybe more?
I hope to meet someone who, perhaps, is in a similar situation and who shares these wishes but who does not wish to break up an otherwise steady relationship. If you wish to know more, please ask- I don't bite, well not on first date anyway

Ideal Partner:

I have no fixed idea on what would make an ideal partner. However, he will certainly be a non smoker, perhaps clean shaven and someone who shares my distaste for facial ironmongery. Literacy is a must, as is someone who understands the rudiments of punctuation. Discretion is a given, as is personal hygiene. Perhaps someone who is taller than me(5.5 ft plus). I am not a particular fan of TV and certainly not soaps but I do like current affairs ( no irony intended) and politics in spite of supporting no particular party.
In my previous employment, I met people from all walks of life and religion. In any future relationship, I would like this to continue.
I would like for any future friend to live fairly local to me so that spontaneous meeting are both possible and probable.
Finally, this is my first voyage into waters such as this; please therefore give me some tolerance in the advent of "fist night nerves".
