About Me:

I like to travel. I also enjoy writing, listening to music (although my musical taste may have stopped somewhere around 1995) and talking to people. I would describe myself as a good listener with a good sense of humour, but I think that I am more open to people once I have known them for some time. I enjoy going out with friends or colleagues, having a few drinks and also going to live music, although I would like to do more of this. I am interested in politics and like reading about it, but also enjoy sports such as basketball, running (exceedingly slowly) and swimming. I would describe myself as an honest and straight-forward person (despite being on this site) and generally positive, which I consider to be an important characteristic.

Ideal Partner:

I am looking for someone who likes to laugh and does not take themselves too seriously. I guess they would be in the 20 year bracket around my own age.
